Membership Info

Reasons to Join
  • One fee gets you membership in both the local club and with ATV/BC (Quad Riders Association of British Columbia).
ATV/BC - was started in 2000 to protect our right to ride, as environmentalists were having many areas closed down and no one was looking after or protecting the interests of ATVers.
  • Reduced rates on available rider safety courses put on by CSC certified instructors.
  • Reduced liability insurance, which is mandatory to ride on Forest Service Roads.
  • To meet people with similar interests. Many of our members are avid outdoors enthusiasts. Camping, hunting, fishing and exploring the back woods are some of the activities that are talked about regularly.
  • The member knowledge base for trails and otherwise unknown riding possibilities is amazing.
  • Club website with a large portion of that being accessible only to active members.
  • Monthly meetings to share ideas and meet other members.(all are welcome).
  • Organized rides and other club events.

Cost to Join
  • Annual fee for membership for the 2007/2008 season is $60.
  • Our year, as with ATV/BC runs from June 1st through May 31st. There is currently no prorating of memberships for those wishing to join prior to June 1st.
However, ATV/BC and the Mid Island ATV Club have decided to extend an offer to first time members that wish to join after March 1, 2007. For no extra charge you can join now and receive the remainder of this year and all of next years membership for the price of a single year. Pay $60 and get membership until May 31, 2008.
